Happy 2020! I hope this new year is off to a great start for you! One of my top priorities right now is to develop my signature style as a designer, and the best way to do that is to make A LOT of patterns! To give myself some accountability, I've decided to take on the challenge of creating 30 different patterns over the course of five weeks (that's creating one pattern every day except for Sundays through February 18th). Sometimes it's really hard to recognize and celebrate progress. It's easy to be ungrateful, and it's easy to get discouraged because you feel like you're not moving fast enough.
After reflecting on 2019, though, I know that I have PLENTY to be grateful for, and I AM making progress.
